Belmont Leadership is currently fundraising for the Red Cross Philippines Relief of Typhoon Haiyan. Leadership students will be selling fair trade, tea gift packages this week to help raise money for this cause. Get yours at lunch time this week or from Leadership students. They make an excellent Christmas Present for those that love tea and would feel good about knowing that their gift helps support such an important cause!
Congratulations to all Belmont Musicians that gave a great performance last night and huge thanks to everyone that helped to make the night a success. It couldn’t be done without support from classroom teachers, PE staff, office admin and countless others. Ms. Dawson would like to remind the carolers that they are to meet in the Choir Room today at lunch. Thank you!

The Fourth Annual Indie Night is coming up on December 11th! Indie Night is an event where local artists and bands can come display their talents, with all proceeds going towards the CanWES Society! Performers this year include Riley Newman, Kyle Peddie, Lyndon Blazina, and many more! Tickets will be sold at lunch in the foyer through November and December, they will be 5 dollars and donations are always accepted! Come out if you want to enjoy great music with awesome people!
Career Centre Information
Urgent Need for 25 volunteers for the Children’s Christmas Party at the Eagle Ridge Arena on December 7, 2013 from 11am to 4pm. There are shifts available too. Duties include: Greeters, Set up and take down, help children at the craft tables, distribute presents plus many more opportunities to have fun. Sign Up in the Career Centre.
Are you interested in exploring and learning the basic skills in Computer Science, Electronic, Computer, Civil and Mechanical Engineering Technology? This 4 credit course is offered at Camosun every Friday after school for 12 weeks starting in February 21st. Find out more information and pick up applications from the Career Centre.
