This scholarship is in honour of Glenn Smith, and is intended for a student who has displayed some of the following qualities:
- improvement in areas such as marks, attitude, effort, attendance, etc.
- potential for success in post-secondary (college, university, tech school, trades foundation program, etc.)
- may have overcome challenges/obstacles during high school
- financial need may be a consideration

This Scholarship was created to honour the memory of Jake Weitz. It is intended for students planning to pursue post-secondary eduation in a mechanics-related field (automotive service tech, heavy duty mechanics, avaition mechanics, etc.)
